The known universe has been engaged in war for over 10,000 years. Though the war is not omnipresent, there is no place in the galaxy which has not been touched by it at least once. In the places where war is not currently devouring life, peace of varying stability can be found.

Jaan Reeth is one of the few who have lived in relative peace his entire life. War and conflict have come to his planet in the past, but never were they mainstays in his day to day life. He never thought that he would be anything more than a humble shopkeeper, and he certainly never thought he would be fighting in war. All of this changed, though, the day the HDGA came to Fondain IV...

Humans rule the day, and the supernatural rule the night. But what happens when the daylight is taken away and replaced with eternal night? Will humans continue to survive? Or will they be hunted to extinction by the denizens of the dark?

After one thousand years of night, there are fewer human settlements than there ever have been. Among those still around, most people can simply do nothing more than try to survive. A few, though, chose to take the fight to the undead themselves. But to what end?

Some fight for survival, some fight for answers, and some fight for their own agendas. Will their fighting yield fruit? Or will they die long before they reach their goals? Only time will tell.
